Digital imaging, a full laboratory and a 24-hour blood centre. Each test below says when it is available and how to prepare.
Dr Kajli Gupta Digital Imaging Centre
9 AM to 6 PM
Digital radiography for the chest, bones, joints, spine, sinuses and abdomen. Images are ready within minutes and use a lower radiation dose than film.
Before you come
Remove metal jewellery and belts. Tell the staff if you are, or might be, pregnant.
10 AM to 4 PM
Pregnancy scans in 3D and 4D, including dating, anomaly and growth scans, along with ultrasound of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, breast and soft tissues. Safe, with no radiation.
Before you come
Lower abdomen and pelvis scans need a full bladder. Upper abdomen scans need about 6 hours of fasting. Bring earlier reports.
10 AM to 4 PM
Ultrasound that maps blood flow: fetal well-being in pregnancy, leg veins and arteries, neck (carotid) vessels and kidneys.
Before you come
Usually no preparation. You will be told if fasting is needed.
10 AM to 4 PM
A detailed ultrasound study of the baby's heart structure and rhythm during pregnancy, usually advised between 18 and 24 weeks.
Before you come
No special preparation. Please bring your earlier pregnancy scans.
10 AM to 4 PM
Ultrasound of an infant's brain through the soft spot (fontanelle). Quick, painless and free of radiation.
Before you come
Feed the baby shortly before the scan so that they stay calm.
9 AM to 6 PM
Screening and diagnostic mammography to find breast changes early, when they are easiest to treat.
Before you come
Avoid deodorant, powder or cream on the day. The week after your period is the most comfortable time.
9 AM to 6 PM
Panoramic dental X-ray for dentists and orthodontists: all teeth, both jaws and the joints in a single image.
Before you come
Remove earrings, spectacles, hairpins and removable dentures.
Janta Pathology
8 AM to 8 PM
Haematology, clinical pathology, cytology and histopathology (biopsy) reporting under the supervision of Dr Samir Gupta.
Before you come
Most blood tests need no preparation. Ask us when you book.
8 AM to 8 PM
Blood sugar and HbA1c, kidney and liver function, lipid profile, thyroid profile, electrolytes and other routine and special tests.
Before you come
Fasting sugar and lipid profile need 10 to 12 hours of fasting. Plain water is allowed.
8 AM to 8 PM
Culture and sensitivity testing of urine, blood, pus and other samples, so your doctor can choose the right antibiotic.
Before you come
Give the sample before starting antibiotics if possible. For urine, a first-morning midstream sample in a sterile container.
8 AM to 8 PM
A trained phlebotomist visits your home to collect samples, which is helpful for elderly or unwell patients.

Licensed blood centre with component separation, quality-controlled testing and temperature-controlled storage. Open round the clock.
Before you come
For a blood request, bring the doctor's requisition form and the patient's blood sample as advised by the hospital.
